Dr. Ennis is still weak, and still has quite a bit of healing and recovery to get through. Please pray that it will go well.

The ladies prayer chain recently was requested to pray for a 16 year old teenage girl with Guillain-Barré syndrome. She is completely paralyzed except she can move her eyes and she can raise one arm about one inch.

Preacher Ennis attended church tonight!
He still needs your prayers during the recovery and healing process.

Preacher Ennis just returned from the doctor. He is doing very well. God has answered your prayers!
He now has to go through a procedure for the next 6 hours. If it goes well, he will be well on the road to recovery.
If it does not go well, he will have to go to the emergency room. So please pray for victory in this next hurdle.

God has certainly blessed! Praise His holy name!
Now Preacher Ennis has to continue to heal from the surgery, but it looks like the most difficult days are behind him.

Pastor Ennis is resting at home, recovering and healing from the surgery.

The next update will be after his visit to the doctor on Thursday.

Continue to pray for Dr. Ennis during his recovery. He is experiencing considerable pain and discomfort, as anyone who has been through a major abdominal surgery can attest.

Dr. Ennis came home today at around 2:30. Continue to pray for his recovery. Thank you for your prayers and concern.

Dr. Ennis had a rough night last night, with stomach spasms, so he will stay in the hospital another night.

There is GREAT news from the pathology lab. They found NO cancer outside the prostate, so he will not have to take any treatment for cancer. They got it all! They did find polyps at both ends of the prostate, which they were not expecting, but thankfully there was no cancer elsewhere.

Dr. Ennis did well last night. He is getting his appetite back. He will still be on liquids today.

Current expectation is he will go home tomorrow.new8year

Dr. Ennis' surgery went very well! THANK YOU for praying! We thank the Lord for His goodness and grace!

He is at Western Wake Hospital in Cary.

His room number is 209. At this point he is not having any complications, so he is in a regular room.

He was out of recovery and into the room at about 2:45 PM.

At 6:45 PM they got him up and he walked down the hall and back, and did very well.

It has been a good day. God has blessed, and answered prayer. Please continue to pray for the Preacher's recovery, and THANK GOD for what HE did today!

Our pastor, Dr. Charles Ennis, will undergo prostate surgery on Thursday, January 31st, at 7:00 AM. The surgery is expected to take 5 hours.
