Arrangements for Thirl Ennis: April 7th, 2008 (Monday) Dr. Ennis is still healing from prostate surgery. Thank you for your prayers. Continue to pray for a full recovery. February 24th, 2008 (Sunday) Dr. Ennis preached again this Sunday morning, on "What Can Wash Away My Sin?" It is available on the "Messages" page. Dr. Ennis is still weak and in "discomfort", and appreciates your continued prayers during his recovery. February 17th, 2008 (Sunday) Dr. Ennis preached Sunday morning! It has only been 17 days since the
surgery! ![]() Dr. Charles Ennis in the pulpit on Sunday, February 17th, 2008 Dr. Ennis is still weak, and still has quite a bit of healing and recovery to get through. Please pray that it will go well. February 14th, 2008 The ladies prayer chain recently was requested to pray for a 16 year old teenage girl with Guillain-Barré syndrome. She is completely paralyzed except she can move her eyes and she can raise one arm about one inch. Here are some places to read about Guillain-Barré Syndrome. February 13th, 2008 (Wednesday) Preacher Ennis attended church tonight! February 7th, 2008 (Thursday) 02:00 PM 08:15 PM February 4th, 2008 (Monday) Pastor Ennis is resting at home, recovering and healing from the surgery. The next update will be after his visit to the doctor on Thursday. Continue to pray for Dr. Ennis during his recovery. He is experiencing considerable pain and discomfort, as anyone who has been through a major abdominal surgery can attest. Thank you for your prayers and concern for Dr. Ennis during this time. Please address cards and letters for Dr. Ennis to Fellowship Baptist Church. February 3rd, 2008 (Sunday) Dr. Ennis came home today at around 2:30. Continue to pray for his recovery. Thank you for your prayers and concern. February 2nd, 2008 (Saturday) Dr. Ennis had a rough night last night, with stomach spasms, so he will stay in the hospital another night. There is GREAT news from the pathology lab. They found NO cancer outside the prostate, so he will not have to take any treatment for cancer. They got it all! They did find polyps at both ends of the prostate, which they were not expecting, but thankfully there was no cancer elsewhere. February 1st, 2008 (Friday) Dr. Ennis did well last night. He is getting his appetite back. He will still be on liquids today. Current expectation is he will go home tomorrow.new8year January 31st, 2008 (Thursday) Dr. Ennis' surgery went very well! THANK YOU for praying! We thank the Lord for His goodness and grace! He is at Western Wake Hospital in Cary. His room number is 209. At this point he is not having any complications, so he is in a regular room. He was out of recovery and into the room at about 2:45 PM. At 6:45 PM they got him up and he walked down the hall and back, and did very well. It has been a good day. God has blessed, and answered prayer. Please continue to pray for the Preacher's recovery, and THANK GOD for what HE did today! Psalm 100:4 "Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his
courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name." January 30th, 2008 Our pastor, Dr. Charles Ennis, will undergo prostate surgery on Thursday, January 31st, at 7:00 AM. The surgery is expected to take 5 hours. Thank you for praying! Updates will be posted here on the news page.
